Magazine project: Vision
Creating the magazine ‘Vision’ has got to be my favourite project and my proudest piece of work I've produced.
My goal was to push the boundaries of experimental design, blending traditional techniques with contemporary software, by mostly using photoshop. I created my own font to match what I am saying and the theme of project, most of the text you see in the handwritten font is written by me. By integrating elements of surrealism and abstract art, I aim to craft a unique visual narrative that captivates and inspires readers. Through ‘Vision’, I strive to showcase an abundance of my designs created individually, and inspire young designers who haven’t explored this area yet.

Behind the Typeface
I made this handwritten typeface to match with the kind of designs you will find in this magazine. The typeface is imperfect, with different weights, sizes, kerning, and even to where some characters sit on the baseline. The left shows the process of how I got each character, as you can probably tell it didn’t take me too long to create the font. Which is on the same page of process when I am creating my experimental designs as I like to design multiple quickly and choose the best one to present.
